STEWART SMITH

President & CEO

Stewart Smith is the President and CEO of EP+R International. His all-hazards expertise emphasizes emergency preparedness and response through collaborative partnerships and coordinated programs with the federal, regional, state, local and international markets. Mr. Smith is a retired Commander from the Navy Medical Service Corps. His military history includes assignments at North American Aerospace Defense Command/United States Northern Command (NORAD-USNORTHCOM), the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs, The Joint Staff,  and the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, Medical Plans and Policy (OPNAV-N931). Mr. Smith holds graduate degrees in Public Health Management and Policy from the Yale School of Medicine, Department of Public Health and Epidemiology; the Naval War College in National Security and Strategic Studies; is a Doctor of Health Sciences (Global Health) candidate at A.T. Still University of Health Sciences; and is an  alumni of the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, Executive Leadership Education Program. He is the co-founder of, and immediate past President to, the American College of Contingency Planners (ACCP).

LOREN SMITH

Vice President, Operations

Loren is responsible for financial planning, corporate budgeting, contract administration, teaming and general office administration.  Her 35 years of business, litigation, and legal administration experience in government and private enterprises has prepared her well for this position.  Loren holds a Bachelor's degree from Mary Washington in Law & Political Science, and a Paralegal degree from the University of Bridgeport.


AMANDA SMITH

Junior Associate

Amanda is responsible for providing strategic communication planning, tactical program management support, and communication product development and management tools to support program audiences and senior staff.  Amanda holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications with a focus in Advertising and Public Relations from Liberty University, and is currently working to receive a Master of Arts in Media Communications with a thesis focused on Medical and Public Health Communication and Social Media.
